EU and WB sign an agreement on AZTAF

February 16, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union and the World Bank have signed today an Administrative Agreement on the Flexible Technical Assistance Instrument for Azerbaijan (AZTAF).

ABC.AZ reports that this three-year program with total budget of 5.25 million euro is funded by the EU and managed by the WB.

The purpose of the program is to provide advisory and analytical support to the Azerbaijani government in accordance with "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities of Socio-Economic Growth” and capacity building.

This support will help strengthen social inclusion and connectivity, stimulate economic reforms, strengthen public sector governance, and effectively address the consequences of COVID-19. The agreement was signed by WB Manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael and EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko.
