In 2022, EU expects increase in gas supplies from Azerbaijan

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. The EU expects growth in gas supplies from Azerbaijan this year, ABC.AZ reports, citing EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson during a press conference.

According to Simson, Azerbaijan has already increased natural gas supplies to the EU, and this trend will continue: "This year, up to 4 bn cu m of gas will be additionally supplied, and by 2027 the volumes are expected to more than double."
