September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Two documents have been signed between Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), ABC.AZ reports, quoting Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov.

The minister noted that prior to the signing he held a meeting with EBRD president Ms. Adele Renaud-Basso, at which prospects for cooperation with the bank and joint projects were discussed.

"The documents signed today imply the allocation of a large loan by the EBRD without state guarantees for the renewal of the flotilla of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC, transferred to the management of the Azerbaijani Investment Holding, the improvement of infrastructure in the city of Ganja under the Street Lighting project within the Ganja-Green City Program," he emphasized.
