AZN 35 million to be allocated next year to provide military personnel with housing

In 2023, the Azerbaijani authorities will allocate AZN 35 million (corresponding to the indicator for 2022) to provide housing for servicemen on active military service and in reserve, who have an impeccable service life of over 20 years, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance.

"The amount will be allocated from the State Budget," the Ministry says.

More than 2,000 servicemen have received apartments in Baku, Ganja, Absheron and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic within the framework of this program so far. In addition, there are more than 2,100 people in line for an apartment who are eligible to receive them within the program.

In addition, the Azerbaijani authorities will allocate AZN 12.7 million in 2023 to pay monetary compensation to servicemen on active military service and in reserve in connection with their rental of housing.
