January 9, Fineko/abc.az. Taxi prices have increased because of snowy weather in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that Bolt and Uber taxis almost doubled the cost of their services.

Bolt previously offered 1.2 manats for travel over distance of 1.4 km within the city limits, and today this price has risen to 2 manats. Uber also set the price at 3.3 manats for the same distance.

The cost of private taxi services has also increased much. There is information that instead of 3-5 manats for a certain distance, drivers ask 20-30 manats.

Unstable weather in Baku will continue until 12 January.

The minimum air temperature in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula was up to 2 degrees below zero. The height of the snow cover in Baku is 2 cm.
