Azerbaijani leader: process of chaotic construction in Baku stops, urban development must comply with Master Plan

March 1, Fineko/abc.az. The process of chaotic construction has been suspended in Baku.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made such a statement at a meeting with a group of art and culture figures, which was also attended by First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

"The State Committee on Urban Planning & Architecture has set serious tasks to halt this process. Of course, we cannot allow any stagnation in the construction sector, as it is one of the promoting and creating tens of thousands of jobs, but now the rules of urban development should be in accordance with the Master Plan," the president stressed.
