February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Functionaries in Azerbaijan are to present financial information to the public.

ABC.AZ reports that the data is covered by National Action Plan on Open Government Promotion 2020-22, signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

The Action Plan says that this work will be carried out by the Cabinet Ministers and the Ministry of Justice in 2020-22. In addition, this year a methodology for identifying, analyzing and preventing corruption risks will be developed with taking into account international best practices.

In 2020-22 support will be provided to non-governmental organizations specializing in this field in research and opinion polls with the purpose to study the causes, characteristics, and level of corruption in general and by spheres. This work is conducted by the Council of State Support for NGOs under the Presidential Administration.
