Kazakhstan restricts flights to Azerbaijan from today

March 2, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan will reduce the number of flights to countries where the coronavirus is spreading.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Berik Kamaliev, Deputy Minister for Industrial & Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.

According to the restriction, the country suspends Nur-Sultan - Baku flight from 5 March 2020. Almaty-Baku flights will be reduced from 5 times a week to once a week, and Aktau-Baku flight from 7 flights to once a week.

The deputy minister noted that passengers who bought tickets for these flights will be able to return payments from 1 March without penalties and in full.
