March 12, Fineko/abc.az. We’ve made a lot of proposals to the Central Bank on the insurance sector, said Azer Aliyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, in an interview for website ABC.AZ.

He noted that the Association should first of all work over the law on mandatory insurance.

According to Aliyev, the most discussed law on the car owner’s liability insurance which causes discontent of the majority of insured customers should be amended: "Earlier this year we’ve submitted to the Central Bank the proposals concerning the amendments to the law. Probably, it will take certain time when the CBA will consider them and make a relevant decision. We expect the amendments will be made by the end of the year."
