Central Bank did not change discount rate

March 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has made a decision to maintain the policy rate unchanged at the level of 7.25%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor was raised from 5.5% to 6.75%, while the upper threshold was kept at 9%.
In this situation, the Central Bank monitors the processes taking place in the global environment and in the country's economy on a daily basis, and conducts constant analysis to assess the extent of the impact of the external shock on the country's economy.
