OIC countries with which Azerbaijan most of all traded


March 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has unveiled the names of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member countries, with which it conducted the largest number of trade operations.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that for Jan-Feb 2020 Azerbaijan conducted the highest number of trade operations with the OIC states as follows: Turkey, Tunisia, and Iran.

Over the reported term Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Turkey amounted to $547.4 million, Tunisia $119.7 million, and Iran $60.1 million. Compared with the 2019 relevant term, our country’s trade turnover with Turkey and Tunisia increased, while with Iran declined. The growth of trade with Turkey totaled $76 million and with Tunisia $119.2 million. Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Iran observed a decrease of $131 million.
