Capital export from Azerbaijan increased by 35%

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of capital export from Azerbaijan for Jan-Mar 2020 amounted to $999.9 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank's balance of payments that this indicator grew by 35% against the previous year.

Thus, the volume of capital repatriation from Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2019 amounted to $740.8 million.

The Central Bank stressed that in the 1st quarter of 2020 the residents of Azerbaijan paid interests on foreign loans in the amount of $88.7 million ($89.6 million for Jan-Mar 2019).
