Fitch forecasts improvement of airlines` work

December 10, Fineko/abc.az. Global airlines’ operations are expected to improve in 2021 compared with the peak period of the Covid-19 pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that this statement is reflected in the forecast of international agency Fitch Ratings.

Although the agency forecasts improvement in airlines’ operations, it predicts that there will hardly be a full recovery in their activity.

The growing number of cases in different regions and restrictions on air carriages will keep passenger traffic at a low level, at least during the first half of 2021.

"Improvement is projected starting in the 3rd quarter of 2021, and this process will continue until the end of the year," the agency said in its statement.
