IMF: Foreign investments in Armenia to decrease

December 17, Fineko/abc.az. The International Monetary Fund has unveiled a forecast on the Armenian economy.

ABC.AZ reports that the IMF predicts that Armenia's total international reserves will decrease by 21% to $2.25 bn this year.

"Foreign direct investments in the country will more than halved and will amount only to $178 million. According to the Fund's forecasts, this year Armenia’s export will decrease by 33.5% and import by 28.1%," the IMF said in a statement.
