June 4, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time in the country the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection presented to Milli Majlis a new package of draft laws "Criteria for determining disability", aimed at fundamental changes in the system of determining disability, a better assessment of disability in accordance with the progressive world experience.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry that starting from next year, disability will no longer be determined within a limited framework of 3 degrees, but on the basis of the principle of determining the percentage of loss of body functions, as well as taking into account the severity of the disease:

Grade I - 81-100% loss of body functions

Grade II - 61-80% loss of body functions

Grade III - will be defined as the loss of 31-60% of body functions.

Also, on this basis, the restriction of health capabilities will be determined.
