April 6, Fineko/abc.az. An additional lane for cargo transportation has been put into operation at Dagestan checkpoint Yarag-Kazmalyar on the border with Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the capacity of the checkpoint will be increased by 100 trucks.

"On the border with Azerbaijan, at the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint, an additional lane has been put into operation for trucks to exit the customs territory. This lane increases the capacity of the checkpoint by 100 trucks per day and significantly reduces the waiting time in the queue," the Northern Customs Administration informs.

It is noted that at this point the cargo turnover exceeds the norm by 1.5 times and amounts to 500-550 cars per day in both directions.
