Azerbaijan and Qatar are in talks on a joint investment fund

The Azerbaijan-Arab Business Forum has been held in Baku today.

Addressing to the forum Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev of Azerbaijan stated that the Persian Gulf countries can set up joint ventures in industrial parks of the country.

"Azerbaijan and the Gulf States can also create a joint investment fund. We already have the Caspian International Investment Fund and can create the above-mentioned fund in the same format. We are already negotiating with Qatar on the occasion of establishment of such a fund," the minister emphasized.
