June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Gorky Automobile Plant is considering four applicants for technological partnership after Volkswagen's departure.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Ministry of Industry & Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov informed journalists about this.

In 2011, Volkswagen Group Rus and GAZ Group entered into an agreement on the contract assembly of Volkswagen and Skoda cars at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod.

Volkswagen Group Rus stopped production at its enterprises in Russia on March 3, 2022.

Denis Manturov admitted that the Gorky Automobile Plant can resume production of automobiles under the Volga brand by the summer of 2024.
