October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Tomatoes are leading in the list of non-oil products exported for Jan-Sept 2019 ($142.3 million). In this list, gold (in other raw forms not used for coinage - $120.8 million) occupies the 2nd place and peeled hazelnuts ($87.9 million) – 3rd place.

ABC.AZ informs that the data is covered by journal Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications issued in October 2019.

Over the past 9 months of 2019 Azerbaijan exported fruits and vegetables for $389.8 million, plastics and products made of them for $152 million, aluminum and products made of them for $97.2 million, cotton fiber for $86.7 million, chemical products for $76.6 million, electricity for $62.9 million, ferrous metals and products made of them for $46.7 million, sugar for $23.2 million, cotton yarn for $22.5 million, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for $20.3 million.

The export of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages grew by 85%, plastics and products made of them by 59%, cotton fiber by 38%, chemical products by 35%, cotton thread by 32%, fruits & vegetables by 14%, sugar by 12%, and electricity by 6% compared with the 2018 same term.
