Baku-Sumgait train fare to be paid by bank cards

June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways together with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the International Bank of Azerbaijan” and international card organization Visa begins the introduction of payment by bank cards on the Absheron Ring Railway Line.

ABC.AZ reports that passengers of Baku-Sumgait train will be able to use contactless payment at 14 stations of the railway line.

All stations have turnstiles equipped with readers for contactless payment in both directions.

As part of this project, passengers can upgrade their tickets to Business Class by making a contactless payment via Business Terminal 27.
