Fruit and vegetable export grew by 11.5% for Jan-Jul

August 9, Fineko/abc.az. Exports of fruit and vegetable products increased by 11.5% (versus Jan-Jul 2021) to $376.9 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to August’s issue of the Export Review.

Exports of chemical industry output grew 3.6-fold, aluminum and products made from it by 99%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 28.1%, cotton fiber by 5.4%, tea by 57.2%.

The total value of exports for July 2022 amounted to $4.1 bn. Nonoil sector exports increased by 17.2% up to $224.6 million. In June 2022, food exports grew by 43.7% up to $61.7 million and nonfoods by 9.5% up to $162.9 million.
