Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister met with Secretary General of Turkic-Speaking States Cooperation Council

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev of Azerbaijan has held a meeting with Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of Turkic-Speaking States Cooperation Council. 
During the meeting the minister congratulated Amreyev on the occasion of his appointment and expressed confidence that his work will contribute to further expansion of cooperation between the Turkic-speaking countries.
It was stressed in the course of the meeting that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to development of relationships with Turkic-speaking countries. Azerbaijan has allocated more than $14 bn to the countries of the alliance, while the latter has invested over $12 bn in Azerbaijan's economy.
Minister Mustafayev underlined that Azerbaijan is actively involved in activities of the Turkic-Speaking States and his country will keep on making every effort to develop economic links, trade, transport, tourism, ICT and other member states of the alliance. 
In his turn, Amreyev stressed that the organization is interested in expanding ties in all areas, as well as in the economic sphere.
He noted that the next meeting of economy ministers will take place in Kyrgyzstan, stressing the significance of this event in development of relationships between the Turkic-speaking countries.
