ICT ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkey to discuss cooperation in February 2019

December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Minister of Digital Development, Communications & Mass Media Konstantin Noskov of Russia has taken part in the quadripartite meeting between the ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkey on cooperation in the field of ICT.

The Russian Ministry reports that Minister of Transport, Communications & High Technologies Ramin Guluzade of Azerbaijan, Minister of Information & Communication Technologies Mohammad Jahromi of Iran, Minister of Transport & Infrastructure Jahit Turan of Turkey took part in the meeting.

The participants covered a wide range of issues of cooperation in the ICT field. The event was held within the framework of the 54th meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications.

"The ICT ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkey exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation, including cooperation in the development of start-up ecosystems, satellite services, cyber security, postal services and agreed to strengthen cooperation. The ministers also discussed the possibility of creating a joint consortium to promote startups. An agreement was reached to hold the next meeting in February 2019," it was reported.
