E-payment system to be fully automated soon

January 29, Fineko/abc.az. The electronic payment system will be fully automated in the near future. 
The statement was made by State Customs Committee’s chair Safar Mehdiyev during discussions with entrepreneurs within the framework of the conference on the results of the State Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2014-2018.

He noted the problem of hours-long delays of goods imported by entrepreneurs from abroad at the SCC Main Customs Department of Baku will be solved. 
"The waiting period for entrepreneurs after filing a declaration in the Department does not depend on the Committee. It is linked with technical problems," Mehdiyev said.
He stressed that the cause of such queues is that the system of e-payments has not been fully resolved yet. 

"In the near future, the e-payment system will be fully automated. This will allow faster unloading and delivery of goods to entrepreneurs," the SCC chair added.
Mehdiyev pointed out that permission system Green Corridor will be launched from 1 February. As a result, entrepreneurs will be able, without visiting the customs authority and without assistance of a customs officer, after sending an e-form of export declaration to the customs authority, to perform the process of loading of goods and their customs registration, providing vehicles with identification marks and seals, and carry out export operations from any customs and border checkpoint.
