January 30, Fineko/abc.az. A new system of state salary raising is to be based on the Azerbaijan Public Service Strategy 2019-25. The aim is to stimulate the effective and long-term performance of public servants, create healthy competition between them and enhance competitiveness of the public service with the non-governmental sector. Depending on the results of the evaluation of the civil servant's performance, proposals will be made for the step-by-step construction of the system of increasing the state salary. 

The Strategy defines the Cabinet Ministers, the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection, the Ministry of Defence and the State Examination Centre as the executive organs on development of standard legal acts.
