Premiums exceed compensation payments in real estate insurance

June 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May the insurance premiums on property insurance against fire and other risks amounted to AZN 18.086 million and compensation payments AZN 1.096 million, says the Jan-May report of the Financial Market Supervision Authority (FIMSA).

According to the FIMSA report, premiums on other types of property insurance were collected for AZN 131,800. During the reported term the premiums on cargo insurance amounted to AZN 1.52 million and compensation were paid for AZN 211,400. In general, the premiums on property insurance for Jan-May totaled to AZN 5.557 million and compensations AZN 11.035 million.
