November 27, Fineko/abc.az. If earlier five inspectors were engaged in customs clearance of goods imported into the country, now this work is performed by one inspector.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by State Customs Committee’s chairman Safar Mehdiyev at a press conference.

He noted that this year the Committee’s structure was brought into line with the European customs structure.

"In addition, the incorrect preparation of declarations due to the fault of some persons working in the representative institute caused reasonable discontent of entrepreneurs. Therefore, the Committee solves these problems by involving those individuals and legal entities to training courses. We also continue work on the Green Corridor. I can say that only $6 billion accounts for the turnover of the Green Corridor participants in annual foreign economic activity.
