March 31, Fineko/abc.az. A significant part of the salaries of entrepreneurs and employees of companies in the spheres most affected by coronavirus will be paid by the State.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov in an interview for TV channel AzTV.

He noted that the government has put forward nine programs in this regard: "Naturally, first of all, we have taken to the forefront the work on identifying the spheres that have suffered damage. The program covers four large sectors and 20 spheres of activity. Within the framework of the program we take the real wages of employees or the average monthly salary in the country. At the end of January this amount was 712 manats. 50% of the monthly salary is proposed to be allocated directly to entrepreneurs and businesses in financial form. As a result of the survey conducted so far, the main spheres affected by the coronavirus have been identified. Areas with negative, minimal or no impact of the pandemic were also determined. The first state support program covers 304,000 employees and 44,000 entrepreneurs."
