There is decline in operations with securities - Result for Jan-Feb

April 3, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of securities transactions for Jan-Mar 2020 amounted to AZN 2.076 bn on the Baku Stock Exchange.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the BSE that the transactions for Jan-Feb 2019 amounted to AZN 3.854 bn. As a result, compared with the same term 2019, there is a decrease in the placement on the primary market of government securities (the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance) for Jan-Mar 2020. Despite that, the total volume of trading in the secondary market, the growth made up 375%, and for REPO operations 318%.

The capitalization of the BSE was AZN 2.445 bn on the last trading day of March 2020.
