Defence Ministry: Fighting in Tovuz direction resume

July 16, Fineko/abc.az. In the morning of 16 July the units of the Armenian Armed Forces again attempted to attack Azerbaijan’s positions on the section of Tovuz district of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Defence that at the same time the Agdam, Dondar Gushchu and Vahidli villages of Tovuz district were shelled with large-caliber weapons and mortars. There were no casualties among the civilian population.

Currently, there is fighting in this direction. Our divisions control the operational situation.
