Turkish lira steadily gets cheaper – Cause

12:44 - 29.09.2020

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. On 28 September, the Turkish lira fell by 1% to the US dollar and updated its historical low, falling to 7.8 liras.

ABC.AZ reports that this time the lag is linked more with military clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Although, according to many experts, the situation on the Karabakh front gave only a push to reduce the cost of the lira. So, this trend of the Turkish lira, which this year became the cheapest and repeatedly updated the historical minimum, is also associated with a decrease in the country's gold and foreign exchange reserves.
