Gas transportation via TAP pipeline has increased much

May 5, Fineko/abc.az. In April 2021 Azerbaijani gas was carried to Europe via Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in the amount of 6,477 gigawatt-hours in energy equivalent (about 630.19 million cu m), that is by 42% more than in March.

ABC.AZ reports that in March the pipeline transported 4,565 gigawatt-hours of energy equivalent (about 444.16 million cu m) of gas.

In the 1st quarter of this year Azerbaijan delivered about 1.1 bn cu m of gas to Europe.

The commercial transportation of "blue fuel" via the TAP gas pipeline began on 31 December 2020.
