Loss of Baku branch of National Bank of Pakistan decreased 2-fold

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan ended the 1st half of this year with loss of AZN 115,000 (50.6% or almost 2-fold less against Jan-Jun1st half of 2020).

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Jun the income of the Bank of Pakistan amounted to AZN 242,000 (43.2% more year-on-year), expenditures AZN 369,000 (8.7% less), and savings on transfers to special reserves AZN 12,000 (6-fold more).

As of 1 July of this year the assets of the Bank of Pakistan totaled AZN 9.834 million (9.2% less than a year ago). Of them, AZN 604,000 account for the net loans given to customers. Over Jan-Jun 2021 the loan portfolio of the Baku branch decreased by 6.2%.

For the reporting period Bank of Pakistan's liabilities decreased by 67.6% to AZN 426,000, including the deposit portfolio by 66.8% to AZN 411,000 and the balance sheet capital by 1.1% to AZN 9.407 million.
