ABC.AZ reports that billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of the company, made a statement about this at the shareholders' meeting

He noted that the new Tesla, which will go on sale in 2023, will belong to the economy class.

"An electric car will not have a steering wheel and pedals. It will be a compact hatchback with an electric power plant, which, according to rumors, was supposed to be called Model 2. However, the head of Tesla denied this — the budget electric car will be called differently. It will be sold all over the world and there is a possibility that the novelty will not receive either a steering wheel or pedals," Musk emphasized.
