December 20, Fineko/abc.az. The new decrees, signed today by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, have significantly increased benefits aimed at a number of other categories, along with persons with disabilities and children with disabilities.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that from 1 January 2022 the age allowance will be increased from 130 up to 180 manats.

At the beginning of 2019 this allowance was 73 manats and from the beginning of next year it will increase 2.5 times and amount to 180 manats, thereby exceeding the subsistence minimum provided for pensioners in 2022 (176 manats).

The survivor's allowance (for each family member) is from 80 to 100 manats. Thus, compared to three years earlier (68 manats) this allowance has been increased by 47%.
