Oil grows in value, and Brent is at $86.15 a barrel

January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after steady rise following the last week.

By 9:38 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the March’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.09 (0.10%) up to $86.15 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 January, the price of Brent crude futures for March grew by $1.59 (1.88%) up to $86.06 per barrel.

By 9:39 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February increased in price by $0.29 (0.35%) up to $84.11 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 January, the price of February’s WTI oil futures rose by $1.70 (2.07%) up to $83.82 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent rose  by 5.3% and WTI by 6.2%.
