April 12, Fineko/abc.az. Milli Majlis has held a plenary session today.

ABC.AZ reports that draft resolution "On the release of Elman Rustamov from membership in the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan" has been submitted for discussion at a meeting of the parliament.

At today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship the presentation received a positive response and was recommended for discussion at the plenary session.

The question was put to the vote and adopted.

Elman Rustamov has been relieved of his post as a board member of the Central Bank.

Rustamov has been the head of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan since 1995.
