Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $111.50 a barrel

July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading after rising last week.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.13 (0.12%) to $111.50 per barrel by 09:14 am. Following the trading on 1 July, the price of September’s Brent crude futures increased by $2.60 (2.39%) up to $111.63 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the August’s WTI oil futures by 09:14 am decreased in price by $0.10 (0.09%) to $108.33 per barrel. Following the trading on 1 July, the price of WTI oil futures for August grew by $2.67 (2.53%) up to $108.43 per barrel.

The price of Brent crude oil increased by 2.3% and WTI by 0.8% over the past week.
