October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of supplies of goods from Iran to the Russian market has increased by 70% from March to the present.

ABC.AZ reports that increase in export of Iranian goods to Russia by 70% in six months marks the beginning of a new stage on expansion of economic cooperation between the two states.

"The events of recent months and changes in Russia's economic ties with European countries open up new opportunities for Iranian-Russian cooperation," the Iranian government said in a statement.

The officials added that the current cooperation between the central banks of the two countries, as well as a number of trade-related agreements, can contribute to the development of bilateral economic ties.
