Azerbaijan gets observer status in Pacific Alliance

May 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has become an observer in the Pacific Alliance.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that the relevant decision was taken during the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Mexico City (Mexico) on 10 May.

"Baku attaches special importance to foreign policy relationships with the countries of Latin America and in this regard, it is cooperating actively with organizations and economic associations in this region," the Ministry says in a statement.

Azerbaijan has become the 57th observer country in the Alliance.

The Pacific Alliance is a trading bloc that includes four Latin American countries - Mexico, Peru, Chile and Colombia.
