May 4, Fineko/abc.az. At the initiative of the Non-Aligned Movement’s chairman and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev the NAM Contact Group Movement is holding a summit on the theme "Together We against COVID-19" via videoconference on the fight against the coronavirus.

ABC.AZ reports that the NAM chairmanship was transferred to Azerbaijan at the XVIII Summit of heads of state and government of the NAM, held in Baku on 25-26 October 2019.

The video conference is attended by heads of state and government of more than 40 countries, as well as the UN Secretary-General, the Director General of the World Health Organization, representatives of the EU and the African Union.
