Finance Minister: Azerbaijan to introduce additional tax on luxury goods

June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to introduce soon an additional tax on luxury and excisable goods.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov made such a statement on TV channel ITV.

The minister noted that the proposals on the mater are being developed, and a draft will be presented in a few days: "When we talk about luxury goods, we mean the import of tobacco and tobacco products, passenger cars. The list includes higher excise taxes and taxes. Additional funds will be included in the State Budget at the expense of the tax to be applied."
