Central Bank sold $55 million to banks at a currency auction

February 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $55 million was sold to banks at today’s currency auction.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $55 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70
