Europe to launch a new project - a single system of non-cash payments

May 16, Fineko/abc.az. A project called the European Payment Initiative is to be launched in the European Payment Area in 2022.

The project aims to create a single payment solution for consumers and retailers across Europe.

It will combine the most popular tools – payment cards and digital wallets to help manage all forms of non-cash payments.

This step will significantly change the picture of the non-cash payments market in Europe and throughout the European Union.
