July 12, Fineko/abc.az. The National TV & Radio Broadcasting Council has held an online meeting.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Council that the results of monitoring of national radio channels from 25 June to 9 July 2021 were discussed at the meeting.

On 30 June 2021 a sponsor advertisement was placed on the air of Araz radio channel from 13.00 to 14.00 for 5 minutes and 30 seconds, which violated the requirements of Article 13.2 of the Law on Advertising.

Also, on 1 July 2021 the requirements of the Law on Advertising were violated by placing a 5-minute sponsored advertisement on the air of Space radio channel in the period from 08.00 to 09.00 hours.

It is noted that for violation of the Law on Advertising the broadcasting of radio channels Space and Araz will be suspended for the period of three hours (July 17 and 18, respectively).
