Oil prices are rising, and Brent is at $74.79 a barrel

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil are increasing in Wednesday’s trading amid the data about decline in U.S. inventories last week.

According to the American Petroleum Institute, reserves of raw materials in the U.S. last week decreased by 4.728 million barrels.

By 9:30 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures increased by $0.31 (0.42%) up to $74.79 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 July the Brent crude futures for September fell in price by $0.02 (0.03%) to $74.48 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the September’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.41 (0.57%) up to $72.06 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 July, the price of WTI futures for September fell by $0.26 (0.36%) to $71.65 per barrel.
