AzerGold raised more than AZN 657 million to Azerbaijan’s economy

August 2 Fineko/abc.az. During the period of its activity AzerGold raised over AZN 657 million to the domestic economy from the sale of 254,500 ounces of gold and 456,300 ounces of silver.

ABC.AZ reports that this was informed at AzerGold’s meeting devoted to the 1st half of this year.

For this period the finances for AZN 47 million were allocated from the State Budget for the implementation of projects for the sale of non-ferrous metals, that is, only 7.1% of the total sales turnover.

At that, the company completely eliminated dependence on the State Budget on gold mining projects.
