Oil rises in value, and Brent is at $72.13 a barrel

September 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are growing in Wednesday’s trading after fall the day before.

The oil market is waiting for a meeting of the Monitoring Committee and the ministerial meeting of the OPEC+ countries to be held today at 7 pm. Today, a weekly report on commercial reserves of oil, gasoline and distillates in the U.S. is also expected.

By 9:27 am, at the auction on the London ICE Futures Exchange, the November’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.50 (0.70%) up to $72.13 per barrel. Following the trading on 31 August, the price of Brent oil futures for November fell by $0.60 (0.83%) to $71.63 per barrel.

By 9:27 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of October’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.46 (0.67%) up to $68.96 per barrel. Following the trading on 31 August, the October’s WTI oil futures fell in price by $0.71 (1.03%) to $68.50 per barrel.
