April 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani people voted for stability, security and development.

Such a statement was made by country’s leader Ilham Aliyev, who expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani people for their trust and support in the presidential election.

"The Azerbaijani people voted for stability, security and development. Our army liberated part of our lands from occupation in the April battles. Today, the flag of Azerbaijan is waving there, and presidential election has been held there as well. The day will come when our flag will fly in all the currently-occupied territories," the head of state emphasized.

The president claimed that today Azerbaijan is one of the most competitive countries in the world and its policy is aimed primarily at the well-being of the Azerbaijani people.

"The Azerbaijani state has never been as strong as it is today. We’ve created strong Azerbaijan, and we are going to strengthen further our country," President Aliyev underlined.
