Ukraine’s restoration after the war to demand 100 bn euro

March 2, Fineko/abc.az. The EU should develop a plan for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war for 100 bn euro, ABC.AZ reports, citing Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

"We need a recovery plan, about which I talked with the European Commission’s president. For example, 100 billion euro financed by the EU so that in the coming years the destroyed infrastructure, destroyed schools, hospitals, bombed homes could be rebuilt," the Polish PM emphasized.

The European parliament has supported a resolution on granting the status of a EU membership candidate country to Ukraine.

In particular, 637 MPs of the European parliament voted "for", 13 ones - "against", and 26 ones abstained.
